Fibonacci On Mars

I look at Mars images from HiRise and Curiosity pretty much every day.  I was scanning a HiRise image the other day, and saw this:


I loaded the image into gimp and enhanced it a little bit:

    Beautiful!

    I realize it may not look "beautiful" to most people, but I've been introduced to EU theory - arguably more than I was ready for - but still... that makes the picture beautiful to me.

      Hey I appreciate the comment, Hunter. Mars is full of things that make me say "wow". The "dust devil" tracks are amazing in and of themselves, too. I did a quadruple-take when I saw this spiral over there. Probably over the next few days I'll go ahead and make some measurements to see how close to a fib spiral it actually is.
